The Bromic Platinum Smart-Heat 29-Inch 500-Series 39,800 BTU Gas Heater is the most powerful Platinum gas heater, pairing Bromic's signature ceramic-glass screen with a fully sealed stainless steel body. It warms outdoor areas of up to 215 square feet with directional radiant heat and a subtle red glow, and is available in natural gas and propane.

Reliable in the Wind
Bromic's patented wind-resistance technology keeps the heater working in winds of up to 12 mph. The patented direct ignition system lights instantly with no pilot light, and automatic re-ignition with a flame-failure safety shut-off keeps operation safe and hands-off. Slow-release ceramic burners deliver efficient, clean combustion.

Installation and Controls
The wall-mount bracket is included, and the pivot bracket lets you aim heat where it is needed. For ceiling installation, add a Bromic Smart-Heat Gas Ceiling Pole Mount. Bromic recommends mounting 8 feet from the floor to the bottom of the heater, and adding a heat deflector if there is less than 42 inches above the heater or it is exposed to the elements. The heater is on/off only, requires a 110V power supply for ignition and must be installed by a licensed gas professional with adequate ventilation. Controls are sold separately: a Bromic Affinity Smart-Heat On/Off Controller or a Manual Wall Switch.
